No, I am not talking about the coins in your piggy bank!
How ironic, human beings resist the natural movement of life and try to cling to what is known and what is considered safe. This “clinging” is unnatural and is what causes people to suffer. (Suffering is optional)
I’m talking about, as a verb, to make or become different or as a noun, the act or instance of making or becoming different. People do things the same and comment it’s because “that’s how we have always done it”. Isn’t that funny and silly?
Change can cause fear, frustration, & anxiety, all these feelings can come flooding into your body and mind. Change can also be exciting, fun, spontaneous, exhilarating, and releasing!
In our Comfort Zone where we feel comfortable, there is NO change. And then Change is the Un-Comfortable Zone.
Let’s say we have a Stretch Zone. This is where we can have the mindset to stretch, grow and blossom. Where we know the feelings we feel are O.K. They are needed and wanted.
Even if they cause tears, we know it is a helpful & wonderful thing. We are releasing the past so the future can be clear and bright and new.
